Manchester United endured another torrid night under Louis van Gaal, as they lost 2-1 away at Danish club Midtjylland in the Europa League.
Memphis Depay gave United the lead in Denmark, but highly-rated winger Pione Sisto equalised before Paul Onuachu scored a stunning winner for Midtjylland.
The result once again piles the pressure on manager Van Gaal, but the will have the chance to redeem himself in the second leg at Old Trafford, as he looks to salvage United's Europa League campaign at the first hurdle.
One player taking a keen interest in the game was defender Erik Sviatchenko, who left Midtjylland for Celtic during the January transfer window.
The Danish international, 24, took to Twitter in order to celebrate his former club's historic victory over the Red Devils, having made his name with the Danish Superliga championship.
After Sviatchenko's tweet, a number of Celtic fans responded to him, suggesting that he must have been enjoying seeing his former team-mates record such a huge victory.
Fans also asked Sviatchenko to help bring winger Sisto to Celtic Park, whilst some even asked him whether his former boss Jess Thorup fancied a move to Glasgow in order to replace under fire manager Ronny Deila.
Here is how Celtic fans responded to Sviatchenko on Twitter after Midtjylland's incredible win this evening...
Big @eriksviat your boys are doing grand. Any chance your former manager fancy a job in Glasgow— James Patrick (@martyonerous) February 18, 2016
What did you think of Midtjylland's win over Manchester United? Would you like to see Sisto join Sviatchenko at Celtic?
