The Villa faithful are fairly sick of hearing from their former boss.
Times are tough at Aston Villa at the moment but for many fans they will say this has been coming for some time.
Many would have seen this coming during Paul Lambert's spell at the club. The Scot was very unpopular at Villa Park in the final year or so of his employment at the club. In the end he departed, with Tim Sherwood taking his place.
This week Lambert has been speaking about how his time at Villa came to an end. Her suggested that he did in fact try to resign, but this was refused by chairman Randy Lerner.
He also reiterated previous claims that he wanted Wilfried Bony and Romelu Lukaku at the club and added Borussia Dortmund superstar Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to the list, when the Gabon international was at Saint-Etienne.
These claims and the continued decision from Lambert, who is now the manager of Championship strugglers Blackburn Rovers, has not been met with glee by Villa fans.
Bottom of the league and seemingly doomed to relegation they do not need a former boss rubbing salt in the wounds.
Here is how Aston Villa fans reacted on Twitter...
It was Bony OR Benteke! Everton on the edge of Europe and Dortmund in Champs League… as if Lukaku & Aubameyang would’ve chosen us! #avfc— Robért Jones (@UpTheAstonVilla) February 18, 2016
