Willian snubs Chelsea teammates, Cristiano Ronaldo for dream five-a-side team

The Brazilian named two compatriots and two current Barcelona stars in his side.

Chelsea midfielder Willian has risked offending some of his club teammates by choosing not to name a single Blues player in his dream five-a-side side, when asked by Squawka.

The 27-year-old went for all-out attack for his team by naming five of the best midfielders and strikers from recent years, presumably basing his choices on the fact that no other side would be able to get the ball off his own.

He also seemed to pick a side in the perpetual Ronaldo vs Lionel Messi debate, selecting the five-time Ballon d'Or winner as part of his side's attacking quintet.

He did honour two of his country's former international stars with inclusion, telling Squawka: "Ronaldo Nazario. That's my striker. Ronaldinho Gaucho goes on the left.

"Messi on the right, [Zinedine] Zidane and Andres] Iniesta to organise the team."

Willian's is certainly a star-studded selection. Between them, the five players he has chosen have won nine Ballon d'Or titles, with Ronaldo winning two, and Ronaldinho and Zidane winning one each.

Four of the players have been world champions with their country, while the five players boast an incredible 10 Champions League victories between them.

Not too sure who'd play in goal, though.
