Kohr, 22, started his career with Bayer Leverkusen, but having struggled to establish himself with the Bundesliga giants, he moved on to Augsburg, initially on loan in January 2014, before completing a permanent move 18 months later.
A former German Under-20 international, Kohr may not have made an impact with Leverkusen, but he is making a real name for himself with Augsburg, having made a host of impressive displays under Markus Weinzierl this season.
Kohr is currently preparing for one of the biggest games of his career so far, as his Augsburg side take on Liverpool in the Europa League - and there may be some English eyes taking a keen interest in his performance.
Spurs have been looking to the German market for reinforcements recently, with Kevin Wimmer and Son Heung-min arriving from Koln and Bayer Leverkusen respectively - and Mauricio Pochettino's men may look to add yet another midfield option in Kohr.
Southampton and West Ham both have Europa League aspirations, and given that questions remain over the futures of Saints star Victor Wanyama and Hammers loanee Alex Song, it's smart for both clubs to be looking for central midfielders ahead of the summer transfer window, with Kohr a possible target, if reports are to be believed.
Would Kohr be a good signing for Southampton, Tottenham or West Ham?
