Tottenham Hotspur remain in three competitions this season so squad rotation could be vital.

Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has been speaking in the build up to his side’s Europa League clash with Fiorentina on Thursday evening, with his comments latest posted on the club’s official Twitter account.

Tottenham take on the Italian side in the last 32 of the competition and there are likely to be changes as Pochettino attempts to balance the demands of competing on three fronts with the business-end of the campaign approaching.

Unfortunately for Spurs, French international Hugo Lloris has been ruled out of the clash with a shoulder injury and he will also be a doubt for the FA Cup clash with Crystal Palace on Sunday.

"In the last action at (Manchester) City Hugo got a knock on his shoulder and he is out tomorrow and maybe out for Sunday," Pochettino said.

Luckily for Spurs, Dutchman Michel Vorm was always likely to feature in Europe so Lloris’s absence is not the major blow it would otherwise have been.

Pochettino also confirmed that teenagers Cameron Carter-Vickers and Josh Onomah are both in the squad for Thursday’s clash although it remains to be seen if the centre-back and the attacking midfielder will feature from the outset.
