Arsenal youngster Aaron Eyoma speaks about training under Thierry Henry

The Frenchman has been working with some of Arsenal's next generation.

Young Arsenal right-back Aaron Eyoma has been speaking to the club’s official website about what it is like to train under the great Thierry Henry.

The 18-year-old is predominantly a full-back although he can also operate on the right wing and he is just one of many exciting teenagers coming through the ranks at the Emirates Stadium right now.

Eyoma currently plays for Arsenal’s under-18s although he made his debut for the Gunners’ under-21s back in August.

Since then he has been an unused substitute on seven occasions at that level so he has a long way to go before he will be knocking on Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger’s door asking for a first-team shot.

Still, working under Henry can only be good for him and he is clearly relishing the opportunity.

“I do really enjoy having Thierry Henry as one of our coaches,” Eyoma told “He talks a lot to us, we get a lot of advice on all aspects and he joins in training matches, too.

“I have never had to face him though. I think he likes being on my team!”

Eyoma will know that if he takes the Arsenal legend’s advice on board and works hard he has a good chance of one day making it in North London.
