Adeyemi is currently struggling for regular football at Leeds.
Leeds United drew another blank in the Championship yesterday as they drew 0-0 in the clash with title-chasing Middlesbrough at Elland Road.
The team once again had chances to win the game but simply could not put the ball in the back of the net.
Once again loan signing Tom Adeyemi did not feature. He watched on from the bench in the stalemate and the 24-year-old, on loan from Cardiff City, is currently struggling to play regular football for Steve Evans' men.
So why is he still at the club?
Leeds have a heap of central midfield options and yet struggle to find the back of the net due to the form of their strikers.
Perhaps they should see if Cardiff will take back the midfielder, and send them Federico Macheda instead.
The former Manchester United striker is obviously a gifted finisher - even if things have not quite worked for him in the English game despite glimpses of quality.
He is currently not a regular with The Bluebirds and Leeds need a new striker.
Macheda would not feel out of place at Leeds - with former team-mate Scott Wootton at the club and plenty of Italians to converse with in his native tongue.
Adeyemi is not necessary, but Macheda could genuinely have an impact at Elland Road if Leeds could convince Cardiff to switch it up.
