Former Leicester City midfielder Robbie Savage said on BBC Radio 5 live on Sunday evening (February 14, 17:44) that Tom Carroll has done well for Tottenham Hotspur so far this season.
Savage made the comment when the midfielder was coming on in place of Son Heung-min in the 72nd minute of the Premier League game between Manchester City and Tottenham at the Etihad Stadium.
Carroll has been at Tottenham his entire professional career so far and has a contract until June 2016. The 23-year-old is a good player and is getting his chances for the North London outfit this season.
The Englishman has scored one goal and created seven chances in 15 Premier League appearances for Tottenham so far this campaign.
The midfielder has a pass accuracy of 82% and a shot accuracy of 75%, and has won three headers, two dribbles and seven tackles.
In four Europa League appearances this term, Carroll has scored one goal, has a pass accuracy of 86% and a shot accuracy of 50%, and has won three dribbles and 10 tackles.
