Leeds United and Middlesbrough shared a point apiece this week.
Leeds United took on high-flying Middlesbrough in the Championship on Monday evening, but despite the talent on show neither side could make the breakthrough and the match ended 0-0.
Boro’s January signing Jordan Rhodes had a great chance to score for the visitors but he headed wide with only Leeds goalkeeper Marco Silvestri to beat and that moment was caught brilliantly on camera.
So to were the messages displayed on the East Stand during the game, proving – as if further proof were needed – that the majority of Leeds fans have had enough of owner Massimo Cellino.
Leeds’ players would have been hoping to make headlines on the pitch but it was what was going on off it that generated the most stories at the final whistle.
Leeds are proving difficult to beat and a draw against the Championship’s second-placed team is not to be sniffed at. However Steve Evans’ side managed just two shots on target from their 16 efforts in total and the wastefulness of their strikers is something that has been a problem for some time now.
