QPR Mascot And Fans

The Queens Park Rangers forward apologised to fans on Twitter - something the Aston Villa defender could only manage on a second try...

It's safe to say Aston Villa defender Joleon Lescott made a meal of his 'apology' on Twitter on Sunday afternoon.

Aston Villa lost 6-0 to Liverpool and Lescott duly posted a picture of a flash sports car to his followers. He then didn't delete the picture but apologised and suggested it was accidentally posted from his back pocket. Right...

In better news, QPR forward Sebastian Polter did apologise to fans the right way on Sunday - and the R's faithful were very grateful in return.

Several QPR fans then responded - and the German striker has been commended for his heart and professionalism.
