Hull City's Abel Hernandez and Mohamed Diame were in sparkling form against Blackburn Rovers.
Mohamed Diame has told Hull City’s official website that Abel Hernandez is like his little brother at the KC Stadium.
Diame and Hernandez have linked up to devastating effect this season, with the pair both in sparkling form.
Their strong partnership was highlighted at the weekend, during Hull’s 2-0 win over Blackburn Rovers, when Hernandez squared the ball for Diame to score, despite being one-on-one.
And Diame said: “Abel is like my brother and we have a good partnership.
“We can speak the same language, so that makes things a little easier for him. We’re doing our best to help the team to win every week.
“I think I’m the bigger brother, though! The goal he gave to me on Saturday, he could have scored it himself but I think it was good for him to pass to his brother. Maybe it was a ‘thank you’ for the goals I have set up for him!”
Hernandez currently leads Hull’s goal-scoring charts and his form has been one of the major reasons behind Steve Bruce’s side’s push for the title.
The Uruguayan has scored 18 times in 31 appearances in all competitions this term, and he has become one of the Football League’s most feared marksmen.
Diame, meanwhile, has not hit the back of the net so regularly, but his powerful performances have still been key for the Tigers.
