Celtic attacking midfielder Tom Rogic has suggested to The Glasgow Evening Times that it is a dream of his to play in the Premier League.
Rogic has been on the books of Celtic until 2013 and has a contract until the summer of 2017.
However, the former Central Coast Mariners midfielder has admitted that the Premier League is a dream for him.
“[The Premiership] is sort of a dream for everyone,” Rogic told The Glasgow Evening Times. “The Premier League is a league that every kid grows up wanting to play in.
“I think it’s the most exciting league in the world. But sometimes you don't realise how big this club is or what it means.
“But I think to be able to play your home football in that stadium and represent the club is something that I really enjoy and don’t take for granted.”
It is great of Rogic to be so refreshingly honest, and one can understand why he wants to play in the Premier League in the future.
If the Australian plays well and performs to the best of his abilities for Celtic, then perhaps he will get the chance to play for a club in the English top flight in the future.
What is important for Celtic is that Rogic remains committed to them for the time being, and it seems that the attacking midfielder is fully focused on doing his best for Ronny Deila’s side.
