Tottenham beat Manchester City 2-1 today - here's how their players rated.
Hugo Lloris 8 - made a couple of decent saves and couldn't get close to Kelechi Iheanacho's equaliser, but made a telling contribution by flicking the ball off Nicolas Otamendi's head to ensure Tottenham claimed all three points.
Kyle Walker 7 - strong in the first half and used his pace to not only attack well but recover when high up the pitch. Gave the ball away a few times but a strong performance.
Toby Alderweireld 9 - another calm, assured and ultimately dominant performance. Shackled Aguero and led his defence admirably. Hasn't dropped off since Jan Vertonghen's injury, and has arguably stepped up ever since.
Kevin Wimmer 8 - another superb display from the Austrian, who has filled in for Vertonghen perfectly. A couple of rash challenges and fouls, but generally impressive again.
Danny Rose 9 - a constant threat going forward and defended well, whether it was against David Silva or Raheem Sterling. With Ben Davies breathing down his neck, this was a performance to prove he is Tottenham's best left back.
Eric Dier 8 - shielded the back four perfectly, used the ball well and dropped back into defence when needed. Didn't give Yaya Toure much of a chance to make an impact, and deserves great credit for his consistently excellent displays.
Mousa Dembele 9 - the Belgian's re-birth has been one of the keys to Tottenham's season. Today, he played like Yaya Toure would have in his prime; offering drive on the ball and strength in the tackle, whilst using possession well and breaking up play. A true all-round performance.
Son Heung-min 7 - worked extremely hard with his closing down high up the pitch and had some lovely touches, flicks and dribbles, but has certainly had better games. Unlucky when the ball flicked up and his hand when through on goal.
Dele Alli 7 - some bright moments in the first half, but not quite at his best today even though he was fearless as ever in possession. Should be rested for this week's trip to Fiorentina, as Mauricio Pochettino should save him for the Premier League campaign.
Christian Eriksen 7 - stung Joe Hart's palms in the first half with a superb long-range strike, but his deliveries from set pieces weren't up to their usual high standard this time around. Took the winning goal with great calmness and composure.
Harry Kane 7 - led the line well but gave the ball away a few times in the first half particularly. Stuck the penalty away well and went close with a snap shot from range in the second half before being substituted late on.
Tom Carroll 6 - yellow carded in a 25-minute cameo, but offered Tottenham legs when Son had tired.
Erik Lamela 8 - as far as substitutions go, this one was perfect. Lamela gave Spurs a counter-attacking outlet when City were on top, and he had the confidence to drive at the defence before threading a perfect pass to Eriksen to score the winner. An outstanding 15-minute performance.
Nacer Chadli also came on, but wasn't on long enough to make an impact.
