Mick Quinn reacts on Twitter to Crystal Palace defeat, makes Newcastle-Pardew claim

Alan Pardew

The former Newcastle man says Palace could be being 'Pardewed.'

Mick Quinn was understandably displeased with Newcastle United on Saturday afternoon.

The Magpies were simply rotten as they were humiliated with a 5-1 scoreline by Chelsea.

But former Newcastle boss Alan Pardew isn't currently faring too well at Crystal Palace, either. Indeed, Pardew was tipped as Roy Hodgson's successor with England in recent months but has suddenly hit a big stumbling block at Selhurst Park.

Palace have been in very poor form of late and there is concern that the south London club are slowly drifting towards the relegation zone.

And Quinn believes Crystal Palace are being 'Pardewed' - just like Newcastle were.

It's as if many Newcastle fans have just been waiting for Crystal Palace to falter - as though they have known all along they would.

If there's one thing Pardew has been accused of at his former clubs, it has been exactly that: a honeymoon period followed by everything going wrong.

However, it's up to the Crystal Palace boss to prove the Newcastle faithful wrong...
