Aston Villa are currently up for sale, with Randy Lerner looking to leave.
Lord Sugar has said that he has no interest in buying Aston Villa on Twitter, after being posed the question this afternoon.
Randy Lerner is currently looking to sell Villa, and some hopeful fans were hoping that Lord Sugar would come to the rescue of their side.
But it seems that the 68-year-old has no interest in purchasing the Midlands club.
The only Villa I might buy is one on the beach in Florida ...Sorry. Great Club long history must not go down! https://t.co/gR2lNBUhwK— Lord Sugar (@Lord_Sugar) February 14, 2016
Lord Sugar’s opinion may have been somewhat affected by the mess that Villa are in at the moment.
The Claret and Blues were humiliated by Liverpool in front of their own fans earlier this afternoon, as Jurgen Klopp’s side hammered them 6-0.
The defeat has seemingly confirmed Villa’s relegation, with Remi Garde’s side now eight points adrift of safety with time running out.
Villa have won just three matches all campaign, and the lack of fight they showed against Liverpool was extremely worrying.
Villa look destined to be playing Championship football next term, and there are serious fears over what direction they are heading in while Lerner remains at the helm.
