The Villa defender posted a picture of a car on Twitter...
Can anyone explain the significance of this one?
Aston Villa lost 6-0 to Liverpool on Sunday afternoon and, after the game, Joleon Lescott posted a picture of a car.
It's a nice car - but he's got everyone guessing with what exactly he means.
Naturally, Villa fans were incensed in response.
What does Lescott mean and is he trying to justify his performance?
Aston Villa look to already be relegated and their players look as though they don't care.
Warren Barton reacted to Lescott's post on Twitter and his interpretation is that Lescott was simply showing off about the car he drives (one can infer).
Is this the biggest example of a player being insensitive and simply telling fans he doesn't care?
It will be interesting to see whether Lescott deletes the picture or explains himself further down the line.
Today has been a sad day for Aston Villa Football Club.
At least Stan Collymore responded with some humour...
