Ian Wright’s response to a Newcastle fan about Alan Pardew

Both Newcastle United and Crystal Palace lost in the Premier League on Saturday.

Arsenal legend Ian Wright has made a rather cheeky response to a Newcastle United fan when asked about Alan Pardew on social networking site Twitter.

Pardew is in charge of Crystal Palace at the moment, but things are not going well for him at the moment.

The Eagles started the season brilliantly, but the London outfit have not won a Premier League game in nine.

The Englishman was in charge of Newcastle from December 2010 to December 2014, before leaving for Palace.

Pardew was not very popular among the Newcastle fans, especially towards the end of his tenure, with many calling for him to be sacked.

Wright played with Pardew at Palace, and he has defended his former teammate on Twitter.

Both Newcastle and Palace lost in the Premier League on Saturday. While the Magpies went down 5-1 at Chelsea, the Eagles suffered a 2-1 loss to Watford at Selhurst Park.

Newcastle are third from bottom in the Premier League table at the moment, while Palace are currently 13th in the standings.
