Rangers only mustered a 1-1 draw against Alloa Athletic on Saturday.
Rangers could only manage a 1-1 draw away at Alloa Athletic on Saturday afternoon, with Michael O'Halloran rescuing his new side.
Jason Marr gave Alloa a shock lead shortly after the hour mark, but new Rangers signing O'Halloran scored his first goal for the club, rescuing a point for Mark Warburton's men.
With Hibernian drawing 0-0 against Livingston, Rangers remain eight points clear at the top of the Scottish Championship table, so whilst they missed an opportunity to extend their lead, they at least didn't have Hibernian close the gap.
After the game, fans were full of praise for new signing O'Halloran, who impressed in his first Rangers start since arriving from St. Johnstone on deadline day almost two weeks ago.
Rangers fans took to Twitter in order to praise Scottish forward O'Halloran, with many predicting that he will become a club star during his time at Ibrox.
However, fans weren't quite so impressed with January signing Harry Forrester. The former Doncaster man had been limited to substitute appearances before starting at Alloa, and fans remain unconvinced by him so far.
Some suggested that he hasn't done enough to win a contract beyond the end of the season, when his current deal will expire, and even stated that Nicky Law should be ahead of him in the pecking order right now.
Here is how some of the Rangers fans reacted on Twitter after O'Halloran and Forrester's performances against Alloa...
O'halloran took his goal well with his weak foot .and he said it straight on his interview alloa just packd every 1 behind ball— Gary Caw (@garycawnew) February 14, 2016
Michael O’Halloran. Cracking today. Can’t wait to see him in full flight at Ibrox.— BMC Rangers Views (@BMCRangersRants) February 13, 2016
Was impressed with O'Halloran today, very direct and looks a decent buy. Still to be won over by Forrester but needs match fitness.— Liam Watson (@liam_Watson72) February 13, 2016
Positive tweet alert - O'Halloran is going to be a cracking player for us.— Tags (@tagsbo) February 13, 2016

Forrester isn't better than nicky law!— snooker loopy (@snookerloopyno1) February 13, 2016
I’m glad the Forrester deal is only to the end of the season as he has shown nothing. Start King the next match.— Scott (@SDF1872) February 13, 2016
Harry Forrester in his few performances has shown absolutely nothing to suggest he improves the team.— Jack Haugh (@JackMHaugh) February 13, 2016
Forrester has no chance of a permanent deal if he keeps turning in shooting performances like that.— Tó Madeira (@ToMadeira7) February 13, 2016
What did you think of Forrester and O'Halloran's performances against Alloa Athletic?
