Former leading agent Colin Gordon is set to lose his prized asset from his new club Kidderminster Harriers.
Senegalese midfield ace Ousmane Fane has been earning rave reviews since arriving at the club late last year from Norwegian club Lyn FK.
Gordon, is now in charge of the club after quitting his role as an agent last year, and now he is very much game-keeper turned poacher and on the other end of equation as he is trying to convince coveted star Fane to sign a new long-term deal.
However, it is understood up to a dozen league clubs are chasing Fane, whose current deal expires in May and he is understood to be keen to take up the chance of moving into the Football League.
Midlands sides Derby County, Birmingham and Walsall have been scouting Fane actively in recent weeks and are lining up deals for the 22-year-old.
