Visitors Huddersfield had 49% of the possession, took 18 shots of which seven were on target, and earned three corners.
Forest are 10th in the Championship table at the moment with 42 points from 31 matches.
Dougie Freedman’s side are nine points behind Derby County, who are currently sixth and occupy the final playoff spot.
