Furious West Ham fans react on Twitter to Hodgson's Mark Noble comments

West Ham fans have set up a Twitter hashtag for their skipper...

West Ham United fans - predictably - were not happy with Roy Hodgson's Mark Noble comments on Saturday night.

Indeed, the England boss was asked about the 28-year-old on Match of the Day and ultimately hinted he won't be picking the Hammers skipper for the Three Lions.

At the same time, however, he didn't confirm that. All Hodgson really did was say Noble is doing well - and that external competition is welcome.

And West Ham fans have responded with anger on Twitter. They've also set up a hashtag: #NobleForEngland

It would seem the Hammers faithful feel particularly strongly on this issue - and Hodgson's recent record of snubbing West Ham stars for his England squads hasn't helped...

Noble was in impressive form again on Saturday afternoon, netting an equaliser as his side came back from 2-0 down to draw with Norwich City.

Here's how West Ham fans reacted on Twitter to the Three Lions boss's Noble comments:
