The 29-year-old has been discussing the Celtic squad.
Indeed, speaking after Celtic's 2-0 weekend win over Ross County in the Scottish Premiership, the forward heaped praise on the striker.
And he wants to play alongside Griffiths and do whatever he can to make it easier for the Hoops front man to score more goals.
Kazim-Richards is quoted as saying: "I will play alongside whoever the coach picks but Griffiths is a very good player who has scored a lot of goals.
"Hopefully I can make it easier for him to score and I can get some goals myself and help Celtic get the points."
The pressure has decreased on Celtic this weekend after a win, although Aberdeen remain just three points off Ronny Deila's men.
Fans will hope the likes of Kazim-Richards, Patrick Roberts and Erik Sviatchenko can provide a breath of fresh air at Parkhead.
If recent months are anything to go by, another Celtic defeat is just around the corner - and it's up to Deila and the players to cut that out and get the Bhoys back to their previous heights.
