Colin Kazim-Richards and Erik Sviatchenko react on Twitter after beating Ross County

Celtic beat Ross County 2-0 on Saturday afternoon.

Celtic recorded a much-needed victory on Saturday afternoon, beating Ross County 2-0 at Celtic Park in comfortable fashion.

The Bhoys have come in for plenty of criticism of late, but hit back with a simple victory on Saturday afternoon, with top goalscorer Leigh Griffiths opening the scoring before Dedryck Boyata wrapped up all three points with the second goal.

The result means Celtic are three points clear of Aberdeen at the top of the Scottish Premiership table, but the Dons face Inverness on Monday evening, meaning they can move level on points again with a victory.

After the final whistle at Celtic Park, two of Celtic's January signings took to Twitter to give their reactions and pass on messages to supporters.

Centre back Erik Sviatchenko started the game alongside goalscorer Boyata in defence, and reflected on a clean sheet after a strong performance from the Danish international.

Striker Colin Kazim-Richards made his home debut for the Bhoys having arrived from Feyenoord back on deadline day, and having impressed as a substitute late in the game, the 29-year-old forward commented on a 'very important' three points.
