Celtic beat Ross County 2-0 on Saturday afternoon.

Celtic got back to winning ways in the Scottish Premiership with a 2-0 victory over Ross County on Saturday afternoon.

The Bhoys had recently come in for stern criticism after a 3-1 defeat to Ross County in the Scottish League Cup and a crushing 2-1 defeat away at Aberdeen in the league.

The 2-0 Scottish Cup win away at non-league East Kilbride did little to boost spirits, but under-fire manager Ronny Deila picked up a vital win against Ross County on Saturday, exerting some revenge for that Scottish League Cup defeat just weeks ago.

Leigh Griffiths and Dedryck Boyata found the back of the net against Ross County, but fans looked to praise two new signings after the game.

Defender Erik Sviatchenko started once again having signed from FC Midtjylland in January, and fans were certainly impressed with his display.

Bhoys fans took to Twitter to state that they already love the Danish international but fear he will be sold on, much like Virgil van Dijk was to Southampton back in September - and supporters also stated he was a danger from set pieces, much like Van Dijk was too.

Supporters also praised striker Colin Kazim-Richards, who arrived from Feyenoord on deadline day. The 29-year-old forward only came on as a late substitute for goalscorer Griffiths, but fans have seen enough encouraging signs to believe that he will be a useful player for Celtic, largely thanks to his hold-up play as a target man.
