Former Manchester United midfielder Paul Ince said on the Matchday Live with Fletch & Sav show on BT Sport 1 on Saturday morning (February 13) that Sergio Aguero is a better striker than Harry Kane.
Aguero is on the books of Manchester City at the moment, while Kane currently plays for Tottenham Hotspur.
The two strikers are set to face each other this evening when City take on Tottenham at the Etihad Stadium in the Premier League.
“Aguero,” said Ince on the Matchday Live with Fletch & Sav show on BT Sport 1 on Saturday morning (February 13) when asked which striker he would pick: Aguero or Kane. “Aguero without a doubt. I mean, when you talk about Neymar, he is up there with those type of people.”
When asked if could Kane be that good in the future, Ince said: “No.”
Aguero is easily the best striker in the Premier League and arguably the best in the world. The 27-year-old’s movement, passing ability, tactical intelligence, vision and shooting prowess are superb.
The City striker also has pace and strength, and only injuries in recent years have stopped him from getting more goals than he already has.
During the 2013-14 campaign, Aguero scored 17 goals in 23 Premier League appearances, while last season he found the net 26 times in 33 league matches.
The former Atletico Madrid star has scored 14 goals in 18 Premier League games so far this campaign.
Kane is just 22 years of age and has a long way to go, but his performances since last season have been superb.
The England international striker enjoyed a breakthrough season in 2014-15, scoring 21 goals and creating 27 chances in 34 Premier League games.
So far this campaign, the youngster has scored 15 goals and created 31 chances in 25 league matches.
