Everton drew a blank this afternoon, as they lost 1-0 at home to West Bromwich Albion thanks to a Salomon Rondon goal.
The Toffees went into the game in high spirits having beaten Newcastle United and Stoke City 3-0, but they came unstuck against a resilient West Brom side.
The Baggies took an early lead, as Salomon Rondon converted on the goal line following a Jonas Olsson flick-on - and Everton laid siege to the West Brom goal from then on.
Ross Barkley and Tom Cleverley both hit the woodwork for Everton, as they dominated proceedings with a stunning 76% of possession as well as a whopping 34 shots on goal.
Only six of those shots were on target though, as West Brom stood firm in the face of intense pressure from Roberto Martinez's men.
The pressure is back on the Spaniard, with Everton fans frustrated having lost at home yet again, whilst West Brom picked up a much-needed win.
Tony Pulis' side were slipping dangerously close to the bottom three, but today's win means they sit eights point clear of the drop, and have some confidence back in their side again.
