Trevor Sinclair asks Hodgson about West Ham on Twitter... England boss responds

The former West Ham man and BBC pundit wanted an answer from the Three Lions head coach.

Former West Ham United midfielder and current BBC pundit Trevor Sinclair had a question for Roy Hodgson about Mark Noble on Twitter.

And it was a question many wanted to ask.

Alan Shearer, sitting next to Hodgson in the studio, was also keen to hear the answer.

Indeed, Noble has been in superb form recently as West Ham captain and plenty of the Hammers faithful want the 28-year-old called up to the national side.

And Hodgson responded, according to Match of the Day.

But his comments won't exactly have enthused West Ham fans.

Indeed, the England boss told MOTD that he is aware of Noble's form but essentially hinted that he won't be picking him for the Three Lions any time soon...

He said: "It’s always good to see players like Noble doing well. We’re happy with our midfield but it’s always good to see extra competition."

Next up for West Ham is an FA Cup trip to Blackburn Rovers. On Saturday, Slaven Bilic's men found themselves 2-0 down to Norwich City at Carrow Road but came back to draw 2-2. Noble netted the equaliser.
