The 30-year-old has been hugely impressive since joining the Championship side on loan.
Sheffield Wednesday defender Daniel Pudil has admitted that he's not sure how well talks are progressing with his parent club Watford regarding a permanent move to Hillsborough, the Sheffield Star reports.
The Czech Republic international joined the Championship club towards the end of the summer window on loan until the end of the season. But the Star reports that the Owls tried to make the move permanent last month, only for them to fail to agree a fee with the Premier League side.
And while talks remain ongoing (via Star), Pudil conceded that he does not know how close a deal is, but insisted that he wants to stay at Wednesday.
"I think they are still talking, trying to find a solution to keep me here," he told the Star.
"I don't know how close the two clubs were to agreeing a deal.
"I don't want to move anywhere else. I have settled down with my family here."
Despite Carlos Carvalhal bringing Joe Bennett in on loan from Aston Villa during the January window, Pudil has seemingly remained the club's first-choice on the left-hand side of defence.
In his 24 league appearances, the former Granada defender has been incredibly dependable defensively for Carvalhal. And he has not been afraid to contribute going forward either, scoring twice and bagging two assists.
