The West Ham icon was watching in the stands as the club came back from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 with the Canaries.

Sir Trevor Brooking was all smiles on Saturday afternoon as West Ham United drew 2-2 with Norwich City in the Premier League.

Ultimately, the Hammers dropped two points as they fell to seventh in the league table at Carrow Road.

But the result takes on a whole new meaning when you consider the fact West Ham trailed by two goals to nil against the Canaries.

West Ham showed grit, determination and desire as they fought back to deny Norwich all three points. And, while fans will have been disappointed to see their side go two goals down, the Hammers' comeback will have delighted many.

Brooking, then, wasn't the only one left smiling.

Next up for the east London side is a trip to Blackburn Rovers in the FA Cup. Can West Ham finish their season on a high after a few weeks where they have slipped down the league table?
