Jack Grealish sends message on Twitter ahead of Liverpool clash

Jack Grealish

Aston Villa will face Liverpool at Villa Park in the Premier League on Sunday.

Aston Villa attacker Jack Grealish has revealed on social networking site Twitter that he will not play against Liverpool on Sunday.

Grealish, who can play as a winger or as an attacking midfielder, has a knee problem.

The 20-year-old, though, has urged his Villa teammates to pick up all three points from the Premier League encounter at Anfield.

Villa will head into the game against Liverpool on the back of a 2-0 victory over fellow relegation candidates Norwich City at Villa Park.

Remi Garde’s side are at the bottom of the Premier League table at the moment with 16 points from 25 matches.

The Villans are eight points behind 17th-placed Norwich City and are very much in danger of going down to the Championship at the end of the season.

Meanwhile, Liverpool currently find themselves 11th in the standings with 35 points from 25 matches, 12 points behind fourth-placed Manchester City.
