ESPN pundit reacts on Twitter to Rondon’s heroics against Everton

West Bromwich Albion won against Everton in the Premier League on Saturday.

Former Venezuela international forward Alejandro Moreno has taken to social networking site Twitter to hail his compatriot Salomon Rondon’s heroics for West Bromwich Albion on Saturday afternoon.

The 26-year-old striker scored the only goal in the Premier League game between West Brom and Everton at Goodison Park.

The Venezuela international striker found the target in the 14th minute of the encounter, chesting in from close range after Jonas Olsson's flick-on.

Moreno, who now works as a pundit for ESPN, was delighted with his compatriot’s heroics for West Brom against Everton.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at Goodison Park, Rondon took two shots, had a pass accuracy of 50%, created one chance, attempted two dribbles, and made five clearances.

Despite the win, West Brom remain in the bottom half of the Premier League table, but the Baggies are now eight points above the relegation zone.

Tony Pulis’s side will return to action next weekend when they take on Reading away from home in the fifth round of the FA Cup.
