Ulloa calls for Leicester City intensity and spirit against Arsenal

The Foxes take on Arsene Wenger's side in a title clash on Sunday.

Leonardo Ulloa has called for Leicester City to show the same intensity and spirit they displayed in the win over Manchester City in this weekend’s clash with Arsenal, via the club’s official website.

The Foxes were 3-1 winners at the Etihad last Saturday, putting in a display of top quality to blow Manuel Pellegrini’s side away and go five points clear at the top of the Premier League table.

This weekend they face a similarly difficult away trip, as they head to the Emirates looking to secure a similar result against another of their title rivals.

And Ulloa has called for them to show the same intensity and spirit that they showed against City to secure another vital three points.

"Anything is possible,” he told lcfc.com.

“We must try to play the same, with the same intensity and spirit, and after we wait to see what happens at the end of the season.”

"It is part of our spirit. The manager says we must fight for every ball. The result is the second thing, the first thing is to fight and to work for the team.”

With Leicester now as title favourites, it will be interesting to see how they handle the pressure that accompanies that tag.

Before the win over City many had predicted they would fall away at some point, but after that big win at the Etihad many changed that opinion quickly and backed the Foxes for the title.

If they were to also overcome Arsenal this weekend, the pressure would be ramped up again, and how they handle it will be a big indication of their true potential.
