Leeds will host Boro in the Championship on Monday night.
Leeds United forward Souleymane Doukara has gone from zero to hero to... hit and miss.
Indeed, the 24-year-old regularly frustrated fans at Elland Road but initially looked a different player under Steve Evans.
Doukara has been unable to live off the praise he got during Evans' first few weeks, though, and now needs to produce consistently. He was criticised for sloppy defending against Forest and is vital when it comes to linking up play in the final third - especially if Mirco Antenucci starts against Middlesbrough.
Scott Wootton, meanwhile, has received plenty of criticism from supporters in recent weeks. And, against a top side like Middlesbrough, Leeds will need every single defender firing from all cylinders.
Evans rates Wootton but it's not good enough being a coach's favourite and lazily getting by week after week. The full-back needs to step up if picked against Boro - as there won't be anywhere to hide in front of the Sky Sports cameras on Monday.
When 19-year-old Lewis Cook is on song, Leeds are a different team. Unfortunately, it's a lot of pressure to put on a teenager but, with the majority of the rest of the United side misfiring at present, Cook needs to go out of his way to create chances.
Cook is good enough to be a game changer against Middlesbrough - and that's exactly what Leeds will need in Yorkshire.
