The Liverpool players were training on Friday ahead of the Premier League game against Aston Villa away from home on Sunday afternoon.
Liverpool will head into the game at Villa Park on the back of a 2-1 defeat to West Ham United away from home at the Boleyn Ground in the fourth round of the FA Cup.
The players were training hard on Friday, and among those who were at the session was Danny Ward (see photos above and below).
The 22-year-old goalkeeper joined Liverpool back in January 2012, but he has yet to make his debut in the Premier League.
The Wales Under-21 international moved to Scottish Premiership side Aberdeen on loan from Liverpool in the summer of 2015.
Ward was scheduled to remain at Aberdeen until the summer, but he was recalled to Anfield in the January transfer window.
The youngster, who has been largely a peripheral figure for the Merseyside outfit, will hope to impress Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp in training in the coming weeks.
