The injured pair are now back in fitness training.
Crystal Palace are currently in a run of bad form that has seen them slip into the bottom half of the table.
Of course injuries have not helped their pursuit of that elusive victory.
Two of their early stars of the season are currently sidelined.
Yannick Bolasie and Bakary Sako have both been out of action in recent times. Bolasie has not featured for Palace since the December win at Stoke City and Sako made a brief comeback from a previous injury, but has now been out of action for a month.
There was some positive images from Crystal Palace training this week as the pair appeared to be back in action:
Manager Alan Pardew has now confirmed to the official club website that the pair are closing in on a return to action, but are currently only involved in fitness training:
"The better news for us comes probably next week when Bolasie and Sako should be back. They're both running at the moment and they're very close, so much better news for us, particularly offensively."
Palace's main problem has been goals in recent weeks and with this pair back in action you would have to think that The Eagles will soon start hitting the back of the net again with regularity.
