The fitness and will to play of Kane were praised by the former Charlton gaffer.
One of the stars of their season once again is Harry Kane.
The striker had a dry patch near the start of the season but has his shooting boots once again. He has 20 goals from 40 appearances for club and country this season and his goalscoring ability is once again at the forefront of his game.
However former Charlton and West Ham boss Alan Curbishley has been speaking to Sky Sports News this week (09/02/2016) and he highlighted other key aspects to his game - discussing his desire to play in the European Under-21 Championships for England in the summer:
"He wants to play in every game. I think he is superbly fit. He doesn't need a rest.
"He actually went away and played for the under-21s in the summer, against perhaps a lot of people's advice. He just wants to play every week - like most of these Spurs players.
"What Harry Kane gives a side, not only does he lead a line ever so well, I think he realises when they are up against it he can fill in and drop in and helps out at midfield. He tackles back he's an all round player at the moment. He has been fantastic."
Kane's involvement for England U21s in the summer was highlighted as a possible reason behind his early season struggles as the striker has not had a break in over a season.
But it certainly does show his desire to play the game as much as he can and if he stays fit and firing for Spurs, then the club genuinely have a chance in the Premier League title hunt.
