Andy Gray predicts Manchester City v Tottenham

Manchester City Etihad 2

Manchester City will face Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League on Sunday.

Former Aston Villa and Everton striker Andy Gray has predicted on Paddypower.com that this weekend’s game between Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur will end in a draw.

City will take on Tottenham at the Etihad Stadium in the Premier League on Sunday evening, and Gray believes that the match will finish 2-2.

“This’ll be another very good game with a lot of goals in it,” the former Scotland wrote on Paddypower.com. “It’s the highlight of the weekend for me. I think Spurs can get something. City need a response after a bad defeat.

“Spurs on the other hand dug out a big win against Watford. A very entertaining score draw. Both sides have a raft of good players that could open the scoring such as Aguero, Silva and Toure for City. For Spurs, maybe Lamela but all the focus will be on Harry Kane.”

A footnote added: “Andy’s bet: Man City 2-2 Spurs at 11/1.”

Playing at home will give City an advantage, but Tottenham are in better form and will not be scared to take the game to Manuel Pellegrini’s side.

The first goal at the Etihad Stadium will be key. If the Citizens score first and score early, then it could be very tricky for Spurs to make a comeback.

Tottenham have shown this season that they are not afraid to take on the so-called big teams away from home, and Mauricio Pochettino’s side are likely to take an attacking approach to the game against City.

City have beaten Spurs in each of their last five home games, while Tottenham have won their last four league matches.
