West Ham talent Martin Samuelsen jokes he will get Norway head coach tickets for London Road

The teenager is currently on loan at Peterborough United.

In the summer West Ham United snapped up the signature of Norwegian talent Martin Samuelsen from Manchester City.

The teenager has since gone on to prove himself as one of The Hammers top young talents.

Samuelson has impressed in the West Ham under-21s and he has even made his first-team debut for West Ham - playing against Birkirkara in the Europa League.

He then headed out on loan to Peterborough United, who he scored against for West Ham in pre-season, and he has been in great form in League One.

Such great form in fact that he has caught the attention of the Norwegian national team boss Per-Mathias Hogmo.

Speaking to Verdens Gang in Norway this week the 18-year-old commented on national team talk - jokingly suggesting he might by Hogmo a ticket to come see him in action at London Road:

"I'm glad to hear that my achievements are noticed. That's good news for me.

"I will gladly get hold of some tickets for him at at London Road."

Samuelsen did his chances no harm last night. He was the talk of Twitter as the West Ham talent time time and time again scythed through the West Brom defence in an FA Cup tie.

Unfortunately his penalty taking did not meet such high standards. His effort was saved as West Brom won on penalties.
