The youngster has broken through into the Gunners first team squad this season.
The young forward was a star in Arsenal’s Youth League, captaining the side and catching the eye of his coaches.
He has since progressed through into the first team squad this season, going on to make his first team debut and make his break on the international stage with a first international cap for Nigeria.
And Jonker says of all the players to have caught the attention in recent years, Iwobi is the one who has succeeded the most.
“We have had players who have attracted attention but I think the one who has succeeded most is Alex Iwobi, who is with the first team now,” he told Arsenal Player.
“Alex is incredibly motivated, dedicated, willing to work and open to listening. He is always trying to improve himself.”
“That makes him a perfect player because, with the talent he has already, he can continue to develop. That’s what’s happening at the moment.”
Iwobi will now have his eye on making further appearances in Arsene Wenger’s in the 13 games remaining this season.
That is unlikely to come in the Premier League as the Gunners eye a potential title challenge, as they currently sit five points behind Leicester City.
He may get game time in the FA Cup though, with Hull City visiting the Emirates in the fifth round later in the month, and Wenger is likely to rotate his squad as he looks to keep them competing in three competitions.
