One is back in training the other is on the brink.
Celtic have been struggling for form in recent weeks. The Bhoys had already been dumped out of Europe this season and recently lost two big games on the bounce.
Celtic were knocked out of the Scottish League Cup by Ross County and then title challengers Aberdeen defeated them at Pittodrie.
The Scottish Cup win against East Kilbride was a welcome relief but they will need to up their game for the Ross County match this weekend.
Missing for both those recent losses was Scottish attacker Kris Commons. The 32-year-old, who has scored nine goals for Celtic this season, has not played since finding the back of the net against Dundee United on the 15th January.
"He's been training the whole week so he’s fit to play. He’s been a little bit sick too so we’ll see how he is."
Celtic have also had some other injuries to contend with. Saidy Janko, a summer signing from Manchester United, has been struggling with an injury since October whilst Jozo Simunovic suffered knee ligament damage since the end of January. It was contrasting news on this pair:
"Janko is now very close to training with us. Simunovic is out for a long period.
"The rest are injury free."
Celtic will be pleased however to see that exciting prospect Janko is on the comeback trail as they aim to maintain their lead at the top of the table.
