Newcastle United have Daryl Janmaat and Moussa Sissoko available for selection down the right-hand side.
Daryl Janmaat and Moussa Sissoko started down Newcastle’s right flank against West Bromwich Albion, where the Magpies picked up a 1-0 win.
And Elliot doesn’t believe that any team in England’s top flight can compete with Steve McClaren’s options in that area.
"You have Daryl and Moussa down the right hand side and I don’t think there is a better outlet on that side in the Premier League," he said.
“There are a lot of positives but we just need to make sure we don’t get carried away.”
Newcastle’s performance against West Brom was a reassuring one, and suggested that they had made improvements over the January transfer window.
The Magpies were beaten 3-0 by Everton last week, raising concerns that Newcastle’s new arrivals would have little impact on their form, but their win over the Baggies has elevated them out of the drop zone.
Newcastle are now in 17th place in the Premier League table, and they will be hoping to continue climbing the standings over the coming weeks.
The Magpies’ next match comes against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, and a win it that fixture could start to put clear daylight between them and the drop zone.
