HITC Sport understands Oldham are set to sign the Wycombe forward on loan.
Oldham Athletic have agreed a deal to sign highly-rated Wycombe Wanderers forward Aaron Holloway on loan, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.
Holloway has found himself in and out of the side in recent times after turning down a new contract at Adams Park, with chairboys boss Gareth Ainsworth dropping him from the starting XI.
The 22-year-old is out of contract at the end of the season and Wycombe had been hoping to tie down the player to a new long-term deal to ward off potential suitors.
Holloway has caught the eye at Wycombe since joining on a free transfer in the summer of 2014, helping the club to reach the League Two play-off final.
The powerful forward has scored four goals so far this season and his performances have alerted clubs higher up the football pyramid.
Several sides have expressed an interest in Holloway, but Oldham have moved quickly to agree a deal for the former Bristol City youngster.
Oldham boss John Sheridan sees Holloway as someone who could score the goals to spark their bid for survival with the Latics currently languishing second from bottom of League One six points from safety.
