The Black Cats defender is out of action yet again.
Indeed, the 30-year-old made a poor start to life at the Stadium of Light but has since upped his game.
Under Sam Allardyce, Kaboul has looked much improved and even put in a few stellar displays at the heart of defence.
However, injury problems are now getting the better of the defender and supporters are becoming increasingly frustrated that Sunderland signed a player whose fitness has been a well-documented problem.
Before his arrival at Sunderland, Kaboul struggled with injuries at White Hart Lane and, at their time of need, the club are now victims of further injury problems.
It's a shame for the 30-year-old, whose improved form was noticeable. But fans just aren't happy - especially as Sunderland's Premier League status hangs in the balance. Up next for the Wearside outfit is a home clash against Manchester United.
And here's a selection of what supporters have been saying about Kaboul...
Kaboul has only played 30+ PL games once in 10 seasons. His average is 16.3 games per season. This is why we can't have nice things! #safc— Callum Mackay (@calmackay90) February 11, 2016
Kaboul has been yet another complete waste of money, as suspected.— darren eric (@2litre) February 11, 2016
Kaboul could have been a good signing, not now. Too much. Shame because he's a good player #crock— Allan Davis (@davis0688) February 11, 2016
Kaboul injured before he even returns from his last injury. Sounds about right— Martyn Armstrong (@MKA97FTM) February 11, 2016
