West Ham United players react on Twitter to their FA Cup win over Liverpool

West Ham United beat Liverpool 2-1 in extra-time yesterday.

A number of West Ham United’s players have celebrated on social media site Twitter after they managed to beat Liverpool in the FA Cup fourth round last night in dramatic fashion.

In a topsy-turvy night at Upton Park, Slaven Bilic’s side progressed thanks to a 120th minute winner from Angelo Ogbonna.

The winner sent the home crowd into delirium, and the scenes at the end of the match showed just how much the FA Cup means to West Ham this season.

Slaven Bilic named a strong line-up in the contest, and they looked set for a comfortable victory when Michail Antonio put them into the lead in the first half.

However, Liverpool hit back - with Philippe Coutinho levelling things up at 1-1.

That score remained the same until the final minute of extra time, when Ogbonna powered home a Dimitri Payet free-kick to send his side into the next round, where they will face Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park.

Mark Noble said that when the winner went in it was one of the best feelings he has experienced as a Hammers player, and a number of his teammates also joined him by posting messages on social media.
