West Ham wonderkid dazzled fans with his performance for Peterborough.
Norwegian wonderkid Martin Samuelsen enhanced his glowing reputation with an eye-catching display for loan side Peterborough United.
Samuelsen, just 18, produced a man-of-the-match performance against Premier League side West Bromwich Albion, terrorising full-back Cristian Gamboa.
His nimble footwork and fearless attitude made him a menace for the Baggies defender to contain, and he was a dangerman throughout 90 minutes and extra time.
Samuelsen's night ended on a sour note as he went on to become one of two Peterborough players to miss penalties in the shootout, which allowed West Brom to progress to the fifth round against Reading.
It was a valiant effort by the Posh, and Samuelsen was the standout individual player, laying a marker down to suggest he can go onto become a first team star for West Ham next season.
He was a summer signing after being released by Manchester City in the summer, and watching last night's match it is hard not to think Manuel Pellegrini's side are regretting letting Samuelsen leave.
Samuelsen is on loan at Peterborough for the rest of the season, but next year the thought of Samuelsen lighting up the Olympic Stadium in a Hammers shirt is an exciting prospect for the east London club.
Hammers fans were thrilled with his display,
