Tottenham Hotspur may be about to give some more exciting teenagers a run-out in Europe.
According to a report from Sky Sports, Tottenham Hotspur have given squad numbers to four more of their young players ahead of their return to Europa League action later this month.
Of the four players, American centre-back Carter-Vickers is tipped to have the biggest long-term impact at White Hart Lane, and while he is only 18 he is already being touted as the heir apparent to former Spurs defender Ledley King.
Australian ‘keeper Glover is rated very highly at the club and the 18-year-old has been training with the first team for some time.
Whiteman is also a goalkeeper but at just 17 he will know he has a long way to go before he is knocking on Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino’s door.
And then there is 18-year-old striker Shayon Harrison who has already scored for goals and provided three assists in 10 appearances for Spurs’ under-21s this season.
After previously excelling at under-18 level the forward will now be hoping to make his first-team debut sooner rather than later.
