The Manchester United teenager can play anywhere across the back-line or in midfield.
Manchester United youngster Timothy Fosu-Mensah is tipped to have a bright future in the game and on recent evidence he could play just about anywhere for the club.
The 18-year-old arrived at United shortly after Louis van Gaal took charge and he already had a big reputation in his homeland after coming through Ajax's academy.
The Dutch centre-back quickly impressed at youth level for United and it was not long before he made his under-21 debut. However this campaign he has kicked on again and at this rate he could be challenging for a first-team place as early as next season.
When you consider van Gaal has given chances to the likes of Cameron Borthwick-Jackson and Paddy McNair, Fosu-Mensah will know that if he keeps up the good work he will give his manager yet another option.
Initially a centre-back, Fosu-Mensah is equally comfortable as a holding midfielder and it is in the latter position where he is expected to thrive long-term.
However, this season he has also played at both right-back and left-back for United’s under-21s, scoring one goal and providing two assists in the process.
In short, Fosu-Mensah is a natural talent who just loves to be on the field and it will not be long before United supporters catch a glimpse of him at Old Trafford.
