Spanish report claims Klopp has been promised top players next season

The Liverpool boss is likely to be busy in the next transfer window.

According to a report from Spanish broadsheet El Confidencial, Liverpool’s hierarchy have promised manager Jurgen Klopp top players in time for the 2016/2017 campaign.

The claim comes in a report about the managerial merry-go-round in England, one that will continue into the summer when Pep Guardiola replaces Manuel Pellegrini at Manchester City and Chelsea will look for a new permanent boss to replace interim manager Guus Hiddink.

Klopp replaced Brendan Rodgers at Anfield last year and his impact is slowly being seen at Anfield.

However, his progress has been blighted by an injury crisis and a questionable back-line so fans were always going to have to wait until next season to see what the former Borussia Dortmund boss has up his sleeve.

While Klopp quickly vowed to give chances to the players he had inherited he will have now realised that changes are needed and it would be no surprise to see some Bundesliga stars make their way to Anfield this summer.

The El Confidencial report does not name names but it does indicate that FSG have promised Klopp an ambitious roster of players, so it looks like being an exciting summer transfer window for Reds fans.
