Middlesbrough could only manage to draw 1-1 with MK Dons yesterday evening.
The North East side pulled ahead of Hull City by picking up a point last night at stadium:mk, but De Laet still wasn’t happy with his side’s performance.
Middlesbrough went into the match as heavy favourites to win, but they ended up having to fight to even claim a draw.
MK Dons took the lead early on through Dean Bowditch, but Jordan Rhodes came to the rescue in the 93rd minute.
Rhodes was Boro’s marquee January signing, but he was only used as a substitute last night.
And the Scotland international has already gone some way to paying back his price-tag, by scoring the header which brought his new side back on level terms.
De Laet set-up the goal, but even his assist seemed to prove little consolation to the Leicester City loanee.
