According to Tutto Mercato Web, Tottenham Hotspur scouts were at the HDI-Arena on Saturday afternoon, to watch playmaker Yunus Malli again.
Spurs are currently going for the Premier League title after an outstanding season to date, with Saturday's 1-0 win over Watford taking them up into second place, remaining five points behind league leaders Leicester City.
Yet, whilst Mauricio Pochettino's men were trying to get the win against Watford, club scouts were allegedly over in Germany watching a potential transfer target.
SportBILD reported earlier this season that Tottenham were interested in signing Mainz's skilful playmaker Yunus Malli, and it's claimed that he was again their player of interest on this latest scouting mission.
The 23-year-old, who has two caps for Turkey, played 68 minutes against Hannover before being substituted, in what was allegedly not his finest outing of the campaign.
A former Borussia Monchengladbach youngster, Malli has hit eight goals and one assist this season, with his displays at the Coface Arena attracting plenty of interest - and he may be wanted by Spurs to provide competition for the likes of Christian Eriksen and Dele Alli.
Spurs raided the Bundesliga for Son Heung-min and Kevin Wimmer last summer, snapping them up from Bayer Leverkusen and FC Koln respectively - and now, they could be looking to do it again this summer, if they do press ahead with a move for Malli.
